Yesterday we were able to go to church and hear a wonderful sermon and the sounds of Easter music. Afterwards my mom, brother and sister-in-law, nephew and great nephew all came to our house for a family dinner. Once the meal was over the kids had a good time hunting for Easter eggs. (I wish I wasn’t to old to hunt for eggs. Smile.) When my family left I was delighted to receive a phone call from a dear friend of 25 years , who is like family to me.
Easter was a day full of many blessings for our family, but the most important blessing of all was being reminded of Jesus dieing on the cross for our sins and the gift of eternal life through our Lord, which is the true meaning of Easter.
