Welcome! I am so glad you have stopped by to Shari A. Miller, Living to Leave a Legacy. I’m a follower of Jesus who enjoys growing with the Lord everyday and seeking His guidance for my life. I have been married to my best friend Bill, for 21 years. We have two wonderful children. I love being a wife, mother and taking care of our household. I homeschooled our daughter until she reached high school age and I’m currently homeschooling our son. I love the bond that homeschooling creates with my children and the memories that are made.
I have a passion for helping the poor and underprivileged. I have my BSW from Northwest Nazarene University. I have spent the 11 years of my life helping the homeless gain independence and stability, while showing them that God loves them more than they could imagine. It is my desire to show my children and others how important it is to be a servant and a witness to everyone they meet.
I am also a stage IV cancer survivor. It is my hope that along the way, the Lord would be glorified in everything that I do. It is because of His mercies, that I am able to look forward to the future with great hope. The purpose of this blog is to encourage you to leave Godly legacies for your children, to offer you hope and encouragement in Jesus, as well as sharing my journey as a cancer survivor. I pray that you feel uplifted and blessed while you’re here!
