A Review of the Thomas Nelson NKJV Study Bible

I think it’s so important to have a good study Bible on hand. It really helps you to dig in deep into God’s Word. A good study Bible has the capability of opening your eyes to biblical history, topical studies and word studies like no other can. When I was asked to review the Thomas Nelson NKJV study Bible I was beyond excited. When it arrived in the mail and I opened the box, I could not stop “Oohing aahing” about what laid before me.

It comes in a very sturdy box, that is handy to keep your Bible in for safe keeping. On the outside of the box, you’ll see a wealth of information that describes this beautiful Bible. The color of the Bible is gorgeous. It’s a rich cranberry color with a beautiful etched design on the upper front half. It is stitched with gold thread and the embossing on the spine is done in gold which really sets off the elegance of the design.

The Thomas Nelson NKJV study Bible comes with many special features.

  • Full color design
  • Over, 15,000 verse by verse study notes
  • Bible times and culture notes
  • Word studies keyed to Strong’s numbers
  • Extensive cross-reference system
  • In-text map and charts
  • Book introductions, outlines, and timelines
  • Full length articles, a robust concordance, and full color maps

One of my favorite features of this Bible is the clear and readable 9-point Comfort Print® typeface. When you have older eyes like mine it makes it so nice to open up your study Bible and be able to read God’s Word with ease and comfort.

I am so impressed by this Bible. I can honestly say this is my new favorite Bible and I’ll be spending many hours inside it’s covers reading God’s Word. I have committed to reading through the Bible this year and I’m really excited to use this Bible as I go about my journey. I’ve already spent a lot of time reviewing the study notes as I’ve been reading though the book of Genesis. The way this Bible is presented makes the Bible come alive in a new way for me, one that I’ve never experienced before. My husband has also enjoyed using this Bible as well. The comfort print and the historical information in the Thomas Nelson NKJV study Bible were huge pluses for him. Purchasing this Bible would be an excellent investment, one that will last for generations to come. Please take a moment to watch the video below to learn even more reasons why purchasing this Bible is an excellent choice.

I have been blessed for many years with having this Bible. I’ve also given many as gifts. When I go into a Christian store I search for the Nelson NKJV study Bible. None other has such info! Thank you for sharing! By the way, I was given 3 words by God one night to begin a ministry, Just Tell Others. This is so fitting! Again, thanks!
