I have had the honor of being involved with Woman to Woman Ministries for the past 1 1/2 years. I have been blessed to have been a co-leader with this ministry and write weekly for their blog. Currently, I’m a quarterly contributor for their magazine. The mission statement behind Woman to Woman Ministries is, “From one woman to another….A ministry for ordinary women to do extraordinary things for God.” This is truly what they do. It is a group of ordinary women who are following God’s calling in their life, letting other women know that they really do matter and that they can accomplish great things for God.
Jenifer Metzger of Jenifer Metzger – Sweet Blessings is the founder and co-leader of Woman to Woman Ministries, as well as one of my best friends. Today I had the privilege of interviewing Jenifer to learn more about her, and her vision behind Woman to Woman Ministries, and the Woman to Woman Magazine.
Please tell us about yourself Jenifer.
I have been married to my best friend, for 16 years. I have four children who I homeschool. I take care of our home, and I help my husband with the children’s ministry at church. I also love to write about what Jesus places on my heart through my personal blog, Jenifer Metzger – Sweet Blessings, as well as Woman to Woman Ministries.
What is your vision behind Woman to Woman Ministries?
I felt God’s calling on my heart to launch Woman to Woman because I wanted to let women to know that they are no alone. So many times women are overwhelmed with everything they have going on in life, and it’s easy to feel like no one understands what they are going through. I want these women to know there is someone who understands, and someone who is willing to walk along side them. I want women to know that they are beautiful just the way they are, because they’re created in the image of God.
Part of Woman to Woman Ministries is a magazine that you publish quarterly. Why was is so important for you to launch the Woman to Woman Magazine?
Not everyone reads the internet and I wanted something for people to have at their finger tips. There is always something special about holding something in our hands that we can read. Just recently we did expand our publication by launching a digital version of the magazine.
What age group is the magazine for?
Women in all seasons of life, all walks of life, and all ages. We want som
ething for everyone.
What type of articles can be found in the magazine?
Everything from motherhood and parenting, to marriage and forgiveness, there is inspiration and encouragement for everyone.
