From the first day of school…….

Soak up each and every second. Don’t let the snapshots in time that you have with your children slip away. Make sure you treasure them and hold them dear to your heart. Say yes to the game of Clue, yes to, “Will you help me build a snowman?”. Before you know it days turn into months and months years and then their gone. Yes, you have many jobs, wife, daughter, homemaker, homeschool teacher, blogger, writer, and some may work outside the home. All of these jobs are very important. However, one job that you should hold with the utmost importance is being a Mom.
What an honor it is that God has entrusted us with our children, to mold and form into the way He wants them to be. Don’t waste the time you have been given with them. The house doesn’t have to be perfect every hour of the day, it’s ok to have dishes in the sink once in a while, all the clothes don’t have to be folded. Spend time with your children. When they come to talk to you, stop and listen to them. Let them know that their loved and cared for. Play with them, sing to them, dance with them, read stories to them, create family traditions with them,…….teach them to enjoy life.
The Bible tells us that….
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven”. Ecclesiastes 3:12
Enjoy your season of being a mom while your babies are still at home. Embrace each stage they go through. Spend time on your knees in prayer, asking God for the strength and guidance for how each day and moment should be lived with your children, capturing those moments in time forever.
