I want to apologize for the extremely long absence I’ve taken from blogging. A lot of life has happened these past few months.
Switching to a new blogging platform.
Sickness.
Moving my dear Mother into an adult family home, and all of the adjustments that have gone on with that.
Our daughter graduating from high school, and all of the planning and bitter sweet emotions that have gone on with that.
My Mother being in the hospital most of last week, with internal bleeding.
As well as, my daily battle with Stage IV breast cancer and all of the baggage the comes with that.
As I type this I am sitting in my oncologist office…
I’ve just seen my doctor, had my blood work taken, and I’m now sitting here with an IV attached to my arm, waiting for my monthly infusion of Zometa to drip through.
Regardless of our circumstances, time has a way of marching on.
The main thing that has been woven into the fibers of my soul during this time is………..I can do nothing without Jesus.
We can so quickly rush to fix things in our own way, our own time, thinking we know best. When in reality, it’s God’s ways and timing that are best.
As I continue on my blogging journey, I prayerfully move forward with my heart’s desire being that this is …..
All for Him.
Every word that I write, everything that I do and say is for His glory and not my own.
I want to challenge you to examine your own hearts as you move forward. Where does your motivation come from? What is the reasoning behind what you do day in and day out?
Is it for the glory of Christ or your own?
As I write this I am reminded of the familiar hymn, by Mary Dagworthy James,
All for Jesus
All for Jesus! All for Jesus!
All my being’s ransomed powers;
All my thoughts and words and doings,
All my days and all my hours.
All for Jesus! All for Jesus!
All my days and all my hours.
Let my hands perform His bidding;
Let my feet run in His ways;
Let mine eyes see Jesus only;
Let my lips speak forth His praise.
All for Jesus! All for Jesus!
Let my lips speak forth His praise.
All for Jesus! All for Jesus!
Let my lips speak forth His praise.
Are you willing to live all of your life for Him?
All for Him,

Sweet, precious Shari! Your faith, courage, perspective, and peace are astounding, and I love learning from you, as you go through the difficult trials in your life. Know that the Lord is using you in mighty ways, to touch all the people around you, and even little me here in New Zealand. May He continue to sustain, encourage, bless, and keep you, leading you by His righteous right Hand. With my love to you…
