30 Hour Famine

Moments ago I finished praying with my now teenage daughter as she embarks on a new journey this weekend. As of 12:00 o’clock today until 6:00 pm tomorrow she will be participating in a 30 hour famine with her youth group to help raising money for starving children. This is a fund raising activity that is sponsored through World Vision. As of today Emily has raised $142 dollars to help support this cause. Please remember to keep her in your prayers as she learns to draw closer to the Lord this weekend. If you go to the World Vision website it discusses in detail what the 30 hour famine is about and how the funds will support those in need.
