Oh, Shari, the Lord gave me this verse when I was first saved many years ago, as a young adult! When I think about it or read it, I am brought back to that first, sweet memory of being HIS!!
Have a blessed weekend,
Laurie
One of my favorite verses… 🙂
Lovely words of encouragement, Shari.
Beautiful photo — and flower. (Did you grow it?) And one of my memory verses for this week, in Philippians 1! Thanks for the share.
Is that an orchid? It’s beautiful!
It almost has a little face… the cute little flower.
Dear Shari,
I think of Steven Curtis Chapman singing this verse when I see it. I used to teach nursing students and I would play it before we would begin an especially difficult lesson that was sure to be frustrating for some. I taught at Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania so it was allowed.
I also see where you are under treatment for Stage IV cancer of the breast. Do you know Cora at http://hiddenrichessecretplaces.blogspot.com/? If not, please click on over there. She has successfully been treated for advanced breast cancer and I think her blog will encourage you in every way.
Because He began a good work in me,
Dawn
Thank you everyone. I am not sure what the flower is. I took the picture at a park in town that has a conservatory. There are beautiful flowers year round. Yes, I can see the little face too. 🙂 I love taking pictures of flowers.
I see an angel in the middle of that orchid!
He begins–and He will perfect. What a promise.
So glad to have you link to Still Saturday.
Beautiful Shari !!!!! Stopping by from S&S, Blessings
Love the photo and the verse. Truly go together.
One of my favorite verses! I remember a time when I really wondered if God was “through with me.” I had wandered so far away. I found such comfort and encouragement in this verse! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful picture and adding the verse with it!
what a beautiful orchid.. and I so treasure that verse
Beautiful photo!!
Oh my, this is a beautiful choice of photo to go with that verse! I “rescued” an orchid from Walmart’s clearance rack a few weeks ago and have been trying my best to care for it. Your post reminds me that we can be difficult to care for, just as my orchid seems to be! And that Jesus knows the right way to care for us so we will grow and bloom into people of beauty.
