Welcome to the Whatever Girls Live 2014 Blog Tour!
The year was 1981 and I was 11 years old, when I walked through the doors of my new school. I was shy and unsure of myself, more than anything I just wanted a friend, a friend to show me the ropes and make me feel accepted in my new home. Six years later, I left with some wonderful memories and life long friends that will always be part of my life.
Have you ever been in the same situation, walking through the doors to an unfamiliar place, just hoping to see a friendly face?
Thirty plus years have past since that day and the world is a lot harder place to live in. Our daughters face things we never would have dreamed of when we were growing up. They too are longing for that friendly face, longing for someone to walk beside them and show them they way.
Guess what moms? That’s where we come in! We need to be that intentional mom that comes alongside our daughters, guiding them and letting them know their not alone.
One of the best resources I have found to help moms and daughters on this journey is, the Whatever Girls.
“Whatever Girls is a group of like-minded intentional mothers and daughters who are committed to supporting and holding each other accountable to our faith and values throughout the teem years and beyond.”
Erin Bishop founded the Whatever Girls Ministry in 2009. She stated that, “Kids are engaging in sexual activities and experimenting with drugs and alcohol at a shocking rate and age. From bullying to girl drama to dating and pressure to preform and fit in, today’s kids have it rougher than ever – and no kid is immune. Kids need to know who Jesus says they are – not the kids at school, and, they need to know that they are not alone when it comes to honoring God.”
Moms need to be empowered to parent intentionally, instead of spur of the moment, and the need hope and encouragement for when they are discouraged and overwhelmed.”

You’ll find like minded individuals who are walking the same road as you, offering advice and encouragement to make this journey smoother. Together you’ll walk side by side with other moms and daughters with a common goal of committing their lives to the Lord and focusing on the things found in Philippians 4:8 …
