Practice What You Preach and a Link Up
Those eyes see everything. They're always watching every move you make. What type of things are you teaching your children? What type of character are you displaying to them? Do you practice what you preach? Do your words and actions match?We need to "live out loud " our relationship with the Lord. God's word states that, “Only take care, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things that your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. Make them known to your children and your children’s children." The Legacy of Listening and Legacy Leaver Thursdays
On June 7th, 1996 I said good bye to one of the most important people in my life.....my Daddy. I miss him. Alot. He was a very smart man that could do, fix, or build just about anything. I always used to put my hand in his just to compare the difference in sizes. His hand was weathered with age, from years of hard work on the wheat farms in Kansas, working on cars, and working as an electrician on elevators. The most important thing that I remember about my Dad is that he always listened to me. He looked me square in the eye when I was talking, and made me feel like I was the most important person in the world as I shared my heart with him.
