    Hi Shari,
I love this picture and the scripture! The deer picture that you saw on my blog is of Prince, a baby that I raised from when he was about 2 days old. My heart has a very soft spot for deer and this verse describes my yearning for our Lord perfectly.

    Blessings,
    <><

What is great about this picture is that there is a stream right behind the deer. I remember when you took this picture. We were driving along and the deer just popped its head up as to say look at me and take a picture while you are at it.

Can’t believe you got that shot of that beautiful creature. That verse takes me back to college and the song we sang in vespers. Thanks for bringing back that sweet memory.

Oh to leave a legacy… that is the whole purpose of my blog, so as the years move past us, our children and grand children would have a little ‘something’ from me to them.

We have that verse on a big picture of deer at the stream in our living room.
My hearts desire is to live a life pleasing to the Lord, loving others with His love, and sharing the good news of that love and saving grace. I’m so thankful for it!

I just had this thought brought to mine this morning…we are here for His pleasure not ours and that’s where our hearts are!

Neat photo. AND years ago I found a t-shirt that had that verse and a deer at a stream. It is at least 24 years old now… trashy looking, torn spots, faded… and I still wear it around the house or working in the yard. No matter how messed up it is, I CAN NOT just toss it. Maybe wear it in a coffin??… no matter how many years from now that could be, I sure don’t want to have it out of my life before then.
