Christmas should be one of the most joyous times of the year. However, the joy of the season can quickly fizzle out when we loose our focus. It should be a time when we are celebrating the birth of the One who came to save us instead of stressing over decorations, baked goods and party invitations.
The busyness can steal our peace and rob us of joy. So how can this holiday season remain peaceful? How can we be filled with joy?
Our family finds peace during the holiday season through intentionally focusing on what Christmas is really about. It’s not about how many presents can be bought, or how many lights are on the house for the neighbors to “Oooh and Aaah” at, CHRISTmas is about Christ. Christmas is about the birth of our Savior and Lord….
