John 6:5-14
“5 When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?” 6 He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do. 7 Philip answered him, “It would take more than half a year’s wages

Your post reminded me to always put my hands in His and things will go the way he has planed. Happy Easter!
Thank you for these encouraging words to fully put our lives into His trustworthy hands! Financial trials are upon our family with some health issues, but I have to remember, if this is how God is choosing to spend the money He’s entrusted to us, we can walk in trust for His faithful provision for all our needs.
Have you read Max Lucado’s picture book, “Small Gifts in God’s Hands.” It’s my favorite picture book. Yes, when we put our small gifts in God’s hands we will be amazed–if we have faith!

There are numerous ways to have people follow your blog. My two favorites are google connect and facebook. I figured out how to do both though trial and error and asking others. You can email me at my contact information listed above and I will try to be more helpful. Have a wonderful day! Shari
Wonderful thoughts, Shari! I love how there were 12 baskets leftover. One for each of the disciples, including Judas, to be reminded of His worthiness to be trusted. And for us–His disciples today! Love you!!!
So inspiring.
I agree with Denise, this post is so inspiring. Thank you for this encouragement to fully trust in God.
I read your “My Favorite Things.” I had missed that before. We have so much in common! 🙂
Thank you for your kind words everyone. God is good!
Thank you so much for sharing this…so inspiring!
What an encouraging post. It reminded me that all I need to do is to trust Him, He is in control of everything.
Wonderful devotional! Trusting the Lord with all our heart minds and souls… Lord give me faith and grace 🙂
That is beautiful. I read your testimony. Praying for you ~ Thank you for your sweet visit today.
Hi Shari,
I found your blog through Tracy, and I am so glad I stopped by! Beautiful words written; He is so much bigger than all of our anxieties put together. When we give all we have to God, we can receive all He has to give. When we experience a day with disappointment, annoyance, anxiety, heartbreak…or just distraction (!), we need to open our hands and leave them open to receive!
Blessings and hugs,
Denise
I felt my heart leap as I read this today. Having walked the same road as you have, I understand thos panics, those times when my hands held so little and I wondered. . . He never failed me, He was true to His promises — every last one of them. This was such a blessing today, and a reminder that He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again!!!! Thank you!
Your post reminds me of the Stewart Sisters singing in years past in our country church: “Little is much if God is in it; labor not for a wealth or fame. There’s a crown and you can win it, if you go in Jesus’ name.”
Glenda~I remember that song. I love old songs and hymns. They bring me a sense of peace when I sing them.
