I’ve read this verse several times before. Only God can give us that kind of peace; the peace that passes all understanding! I have felt that peace and it is amazing!! Wish I could say I always have that kind of peace. The world does try to give us temporary peace, but it never fills us with true peace. Thanks for sharing this verse!

After so much sadness, in the last couple of days, it’s a blessing to be here.
May the families and friends of the shooting know continued strength and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Do not be afraid, and don’t be troubled… I just love this admonition and promise. He gives us PEACE that only HE can give.

That verse is such a comfort. Years ago I learned a song that quotes it and the words and promise are a blessing.

YES! This if FILLED with Truth and must be buried in our hearts so we know consistently that HE IS peace. We may have it momentarily from our world, but it can disappear in an instant. With Him in our hearts, it never truly will, especially as we rely on and trust in Him.
