The difficult part is not so much the laying down of the burden; it’s not picking it up again! Thankfully, He is patient with us and takes and releases as many times as we require.

Over 40 years ago the Lord laid this verse on me suddenly during an argument that it was my place to close up/”shut up” and trust HIM for the results. Buried in my heart forever.

I love this verse. I don’t have to strive and work. I need only be still and watch Him move!

    Dear Shari,
Great verse. The battle has already been won at the cross.
