I often wish I could travel back in time to see what things were like when my parents first got married. I would love to see where they lived, what they believed, and what the world was like back then.I’m going to give you a chance to travel back in time and see the story unfold for my husband and me almost 21 years ago.Every person’s life is like a book, with each stage in life being a chapter. Let me turn back the pages of time, to chapter one, the beginning of our book, of our story.
The year was 1991, the Internet had not yet been invented, cell phones were unheard of and Walkman’s were the rage. I was a young girl of 22, with blond hair and green eyes, looking straight to the future and all it had to offer. I was working at clothing store, while finishing up my social work practicum, as well as my last year of college. It was a beautiful spring day when I came to work and laid eyes on someone new. The first time I saw my future husband Bill, my heart melted and I knew….he was the one for me.
