It’s Time to Get off the Fence

Fence at Dicko

“So, because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold,
I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”Revelations 3:16

Are you living 100% sold out for Jesus Christ? If strangers saw you in public would they know there was something different about you? If not, it’s time for a change. It’s time to get off the fence and give your all to Jesus.

We all need to be a living example for Christ. Not someone who is stuck in sinful nature following the ways of the world. There is no excuse, if we are going to wear the name of Christian, we need to act like one.

It’s time to ask yourself the questions, “What example am I setting for my children? Do my words and actions match?” It’s time to live a life for Him, to be a light for others as well as your children. In doing so you will teach your children to carry a heart for Jesus into the next generation.

“In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may

see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

Definitely something to ponder. I want the world to know I am a Christian…Christ-like. But more important, I want my family to know, those that see me at my worst and best.

LOVE the picture of the beach and fence, beautiful!

I want the world and my family to see Jesus in me as well. God wants nothing less from us!

I loved the title of this post! Such true words but NOT really popular… We are told not to serve two masters but many do and call it “grace”… The worst part is that this lifestyle does not bring glory to the Lord and only confuses those who are “on the fence”. We must pray for strength to be salt and light in this dark world…

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)

    Wonderful reminder ~ JES
